Biography
Dr. Mostafa Ahmed is a board-certified ENT surgeon with expertise in treating chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, and obstructive sleep apnea. A regional leader in image-guided balloon sinus dilation (balloon sinuplasty), Vivaer® nasal-valve remodeling, Rhinaer® and ClariFix®, he restores nasal airflow with minimally invasive, in-office procedures that require minimal downtime. Dr. Ahmed also uses state-of-the-art endoscopic techniques to treat advanced sinus disease with nasal polyps. For patients who can’t tolerate CPAP, he implants Inspire® hypoglossal-nerve stimulation to stop nightly apneas, eliminate mask frustration, and silence snoring.
Dr. Ahmed also leads basic and translational research in nerve regeneration, sleep-apnea physiology, and olfactory disorders, driving the next generation of ENT therapies that improve quality of life.
